From what I understand of Vermont weather, we are currently in Third Winter. It follows Spring of Deception and will soon develop into Mud Season. Boy, am I glad I drive a Subaru Outback!
With spring approaching, a new crop of babies will soon arrive. Those of you who have the winter babies are waiting at the window to get outside and walk and lay in the sun with your babe’s toes out and wiggling in the grass.
Do you have questions about your three month old’s sleep patterns? Getting ready to start solid foods with your six month old? Or are you still trying to find an inkling of a pattern of feeds in your two week old? Come join us for Promise Parenting at Wonderfeet Children’s Museum on the first Friday of every month from 12-2. It’s just a drop in, so you’re never late or rude to run out early. We just chat about whatever is worrying us at the moment, laugh about the unpredictability, and coo over everyone’s babies. Danielle, the Executive Director of Wonderfeet can’t help but come over and exclaim about how beautiful your baby is and what a great job you’re doing!
I’m planning on scheduling a walk once a month, starting in June this year. Let’s all meet in Pine Hill Park and walk with baby carriers, dogs, toddlers, and each other. It truly does take a village.
